Future Proof Bishops Waltham is a newly formed group of local residents which aims to raise awareness of the twin challenges posed by climate change and resource scarcity (namely fossil fuels) and the likely impact on our community.

We aim to encourage local residents to make informed decisions for the future in the light of these issues.

Future Proof Bishops Waltham aims to promote and develop local activities that will help make Bishops Waltham and the surrounding area a more resilient, sustainable and environmentally sensitive place to live.  

We believe that we can take steps to meet these challenges while enhancing and strengthening the future viability and vitality of our community.

We are affiliated to Winchester Action On Climate Change (WinACC) who’s target is to reduce the carbon footprint of the Winchester District by one third by 2015.
