In case people are not aware, there is a Government subsidy scheme funded by the energy industry to get houses cavity wall insulated. The cost should be under £200 and free if you are on benefits.

We looked at the offer from Winchester City Council and one from the Mark Group. The Mark Group was a fixed £180 and the council one was "from £190" so we opted to save the £10. The offers appear to be regardless of house size.

After one missed appointment (on their side) the representative turned up and the survey was fast and efficient.
